Introduction

The ie ("International English") English Language programme has a selection of courses to suit diverse English Language learning needs.

The programme is divided into 4 major course groups, i.e.,

ie General English, which is an English language proficiency programme meant for the general public
ie IELTS (International English Language Testing System) course prepares students for the IELTS exam which is a test of English proficiency for university entrance in Commonwealth countries

ie ESP (English for Specialist Professionals) course which targets to raise the English language proficiency of participants to enable their effective functioning within a particular industry, organisation or discipline

ie Spoken English which improves its participants' spoken English through a patented simple phonetic system
 
 

Programme Highlights

A Placement Test, comprising reading, listening and language use tests, will be administered prior to enrolment in a programme to ensure participants are placed at the correct band level which will help remedy their language deficiencies.
The Programme course length for each course level varies according to the course.
As for the mode of study, the students can enroll in the full-time or part-time course.
Students are assessed continuously during the course through a series of assignments and class quizzes.
A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded upon successful completion of the course.
